Of course, I had to include a colorway based on Scotland’s national flower – the thistle!
Legend has it, Vikings tried to sneak up on Scottish clansmen in the mid 13th century and to be extra sneaky, they were barefoot. One of the Vikings stepped on a thistle and cried out in pain, alerting the sleeping Scots who immediately charged into the battle. The Vikings lost their surprise advantage, and the Scots were victorious, and henceforth the thistle became the national flower!

The ‘Thistle’ colorway is a slightly muted, heathered purple.

I use 4ply Merino wool for all my yarns. It features very fine fibers of 19.5 microns, so it feels gentle and soft. The 4ply - meaning four individual strands are spun together - and superwash makes it strong and durable. A very versatile yarn that is suitable for a wide range of knitted, crochet, or woven item; such as shawls, sweaters, hats, mittens, blankets, or baby clothes. Hand-wash the yarn in cold water and lie flat to dry.
