The Hippogriff is a magical creature with the head, wings, and front legs of a giant eagle, and the body, hind legs, and tail of a horse. It’s very similar to a Griffin, which has the front of a lion (instead of the eagle). Hippogriffs are very proud and polite creatures, and when approaching them the proper etiquette needs to be followed, such as letting them make the first move. The Hippogriff’s coat comes in various colors, such as chestnut brown, white, or inky black.

The Hippogriff colorway is inspired by the stormy grey of Buckbeak’s coat and features light, silvery grey, and whites.

Yarn Care

Hand-wash the yarn in cold water - optionally with mild soap - and lie flat to dry.

All yarns are rinsed thoroughly, but due to differences in water hardness, some bleeding may occur with darker or very saturated colors. If you combine very light and very dark yarns in the same project, washing the yarns before using them in the project is recommended.

All yarn photos are photographed and edited to represent the colors as accurately as possible, however, colors may vary slightly due to differences between screens.
