Small batch hand-dyed yarn that is released in seasonal collections. Dyed With Love in Switzerland Since 2019
Hello, Spring 🌸
Spring is just around the corner, so how about some fresh, pastel colors? Even if it’s still cold and dreary out, the Spring Garden collection brings a dash of spring vibes to your project.
New Yarn Base
A new yarn base is now available! Introducing Suri Merino Silk Lace, a luxurious blend of 50% Baby Suri Alpaca, 30% Fine Merino, and 20% Silk. With a generous length of 1300 yards (1200 meters) per full skein (100g/3.5oz), this yarn is exceptionally fine and ideal for weaving projects.
You can order any colorway from the Spring Garden, Magical Potions, or Fantastic Beasts collections on the new Suri Merino Silk Lace base. Select the colorway you like, and then under Base, select Suri Merino Silk Lace. Currently, all Suri Merino Silk Lace yarns are dyed to order and ship within 5 – 10 business days.
Hand-woven Mohair Scarf
I am excited to announce that, for the first time, I am selling not just yarn but a finished item!
This gorgeous golden and purple scarf is handwoven with SkillfullyTangled yarn. The fluffy mohair-silk blend gives it great drape, and due to the mohair’s natural properties, it is very lightweight yet warm.
As it is a truly unique item, there is only one in stock and when it’s gone it’s gone!

About SkillfullyTangled Yarn
I am Steffi, the dyer behind SkillfullyTangled Yarn! I love to create bright, beautiful, and unique yarn that inspires other knitters, crocheters, and weavers!
Dyeing yarn is my creative outlet that allows me to express feelings and thoughts that are on my mind. Inspiration often comes from things around me, be it a book I like or a beautiful place I’ve traveled to (or would like to travel to).
Quite often the yarns I create are also seasonally inspired because there’s something I deeply love about each of them: bright and hot summer days, moody fall vibes, the clean freshness spring brings. And let’s not forget my two favorite holidays: Halloween & Christmas!
All the yarns are dyed locally here in my studio in Winterthur, Switzerland. The studio is my main dyeing space but also has a small area where you can view the yarn. So if you’d like to experience the yarn in person, or see what a yarn dyeing studio looks like, come on by! I’d love to see you! (you can find all the details on the Contact page)
