Vintage Rose

$ 26.00$ 28.00

What’s in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet

– William Shakespeare

Based on that quote from ‘Romeo and Juliet’ the name of the yarn isn’t terribly important, but this color does remind me of roses and has kind of dusty, vintage vibes, hence its name Vintage Rose. It has shades from very pale pink to purple to dark mauve and is great for lovers of purple without being overly bright. The many shades give it depth and character and since all the colors are distributed randomly in small areas there’s no pooling. It is quite similar to Magnolia, however, Vintage Rose is a bit darker and veers more towards purple (whereas Magnolia is more pinkish and has more light creamy areas).

(Also I disagree that the name isn’t important, because a fitting name also helps to convey what a yarn looks like and what “vibes” it has which is kinda important in an online shop. But I’ll spare you further philosophical musings about the importance of names, after all, you’re here for yarn and not philosophy.)

Yarn Care

Hand-wash the yarn in cold water - optionally with mild soap - and lie flat to dry.

All yarns are rinsed thoroughly, but due to differences in water hardness, some bleeding may occur with darker or very saturated colors. If you combine very light and very dark yarns in the same project, washing the yarns before using them in the project is recommended.

All yarn photos are photographed and edited to represent the colors as accurately as possible, however, colors may vary slightly due to differences between screens.
