The first colorway of the ‘Kilt-y Pleasures’ collection is Kilchurn Castle! It is named after the beautiful ruin situated at the head of Loch Awe, and is according to one of the most photographed castles in Scotland. Looking at photos of it, I can understand why!

The yarn features shades of grey – ranging from dark to almost white – nestled in greens with golden yellow speckles, just like the castle at golden hour ✨

I use 4ply Merino wool for all my yarns. It features very fine fibers of 19.5 microns, so it feels gentle and soft. The 4ply - meaning four individual strands are spun together - and superwash makes it strong and durable. A very versatile yarn that is suitable for a wide range of knitted, crochet, or woven item; such as shawls, sweaters, hats, mittens, blankets, or baby clothes. Hand-wash the yarn in cold water and lie flat to dry.
