Kelpie

$ 26.00$ 28.00

A Kelpie is a shape-shifting water demon native to Great Britain and Ireland. It lurks in rivers and streams and lures unsuspecting travelers onto its back. If it succeeds it will drag its prey underwater and attempt to eat it. Although they can take many forms, they often choose to appear as a horse. One of the most famous kelpies is the Loch Ness Monster, which often took the form of a large sea serpent.

Kelpie is a dark teal green just like the rivers and lakes a kelpie lives in.

Yarn Care

Hand-wash the yarn in cold water - optionally with mild soap - and lie flat to dry.

All yarns are rinsed thoroughly, but due to differences in water hardness, some bleeding may occur with darker or very saturated colors. If you combine very light and very dark yarns in the same project, washing the yarns before using them in the project is recommended.

All yarn photos are photographed and edited to represent the colors as accurately as possible, however, colors may vary slightly due to differences between screens.
